This month’s 70^th anniversary of the National Health Service (NHS) offers a significant opportunity to thank all the multi-disciplinary teams and support staff that comprise team NHS.

How much better our children are because of them.

In this blog we also offer a global focus on health themes which translate across NHS specialties.  Especially three key areas:

• The importance of listening to parents’ concerns for their child
• Clear communication around outcomes
• And the need for psychological support for parents and young people
