Talking about CHD

Sharing information about disability with your heart child and siblings may be a positive way of growing in emotional resilience for each heart family and friends on their congenital heart disease (CHD) journey together.

CHF’s Molly’s dollies offer a gentle and secure way of talking about the subject of CHD heart surgery scars and some parents have shared that long after their child has recovered from their CHD operation, the Molly’s dolly still remains part of the family.
