Support for all those affected by a sudden young cardiac death

CHF member group Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) offers emotional support to bereaved family and friends following a sudden young cardiac death.

Please know that CRY’s network of volunteers are trained in a British Association of Counselling (BAC) accredited course so that they can fully support those who have been bereaved by a sudden young cardiac death.

CRY advises that ‘… all first-degree relatives are screened following a sudden young cardiac death and it is important that the family is seen by an expert cardiologist. CRY can offer advice about family screening.’

If you would like to find more about this profound support and receive complete empathy and understanding, please contact CRY on: 01737 363222.

CRY has also produced a booklet written by family and friends who have been tragically bereaved after a sudden young cardiac death entitled: ‘Christmas following a young sudden cardiac death.’
