Research Request - Parents wanted to help design medical research
Are you a parent or carer of a child with a long-term medical condition or disability who has recently been ill with flu?
Would you like to help design medical research?
If your child:
- Is aged 6 months to 12 years
- Has recently been ill with a flu-like illness
- Has a long-term health condition or disability:
- Heart condition
- Lung condition (e.g. asthma)
- Diabetes
- Cancer
- Kidney condition
- Immunocompromised (e.g. HIV)
- Liver condition
- Neurological disability (e.g. cerebralpalsy)
We would like to invite you to take part in a focus group to help design a research study, which we hope will improve the medical care of ‘at risk’ children with long-term medical conditions who fall ill with a flu-like illness.
We would like to know your thoughts on our research study and how we can make it ‘user friendly’ for the parents, carers and children taking part. We would also like you to tell us how you feel about research studies involving children.
If you would like to take part in our focus group or find out more, please contact:
