Here’s what Sophie had to say:

“I have started to make a bucket list and decided that doing something sporty for charity should be on that list. Reading The Metro one day, nestled amongst all the amazing Olympic stories was an advert to help raise money for CHF by doing the London Virgin Triathlon. I thought if two other Yorkshire men can do triathlons (the Brownlees) then so can I! CHF were also the perfect charity for me to fundraise for. I work with children and being able to raise money to help young people like the ones I work with seemed a natural choice to me.

I did lots of training and was surrounded by a great bunch of people. They kept me motivated (and sane) and helped me raise lots of money for CHF. Race day was really nerve wracking but the atmosphere was brilliant and I’m so glad I took part. Everyone should TRI it!! Watch out Brownlees!!”
