CHF Research Projects - tell us what you think about long term medicines for children

Through our work we have learned that there can be practical and emotional issues, as well as some positive experiences, that parents/carers encounter when giving long term medicines to children.

We have therefore decided to support the running of a survey aimed at parents/carers of children on long term medicines designed to help us understand your experiences better.

The survey is being sponsored by a pharmaceutical company that specialises in medicines for children and is endorsed by Steve Tomlin, Chief Pharmacist at Great Ormond Street Hospital. There is an intention to publish the survey data findings in a peer review journal.

All the responses will be anonymously gathered together in a report. The results would be used by us to identify what types of support we could provide to parents/carers, and by pharmaceutical companies to learn where they can improve their products and services. We can’t promise that things will immediately change as a result – but it is your chance to be heard and to influence how parents/carers and families are supported in future.

The survey is being run by an independent market research company TIGCRU Insight with associate Listen to Your Team (LTYT), an independent survey company.*  It only takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete. There are no right or wrong answers, we are just interested in your honest opinions.

Taking part is entirely voluntary and you can withdraw at any time. The survey will be online and will be 100% confidential and anonymous.  We will not share your email or contact details with anyone else, all survey communication will come directly from us.

If you are interested in taking part in this survey then please contact us at info@chfed.org.uk and we will send you a link to the survey.

The survey will be open until the end of the day on 21st January 2022.

We do hope you are interested in volunteering to share your experiences!

Thank you!
