Families with a young child or young person diagnosed with cardiomyopathy may find these forthcoming FREE Cardiomyopathy Information Days of use as they offer an opportunity to ask all the questions that have been reeling around in our mind.
A child’s experience of cardiomyopathy will depend on the ‘type of cardiomyopathy, symptoms, severity of disease, family history and the age of the child when the condition appears’.
CHF member group Cardiomyopathy UK is a registered charity that helps sufferers, their families and medical advisers manage the impact of cardiomyopathy. Through campaigning for wider medical screening, gene testing and early recognition of symptoms, Cardiomyopathy UK also works to raise awareness of the single largest cause in the UK of sudden death in those under the age of thirty.
